Merry holidays! Here's the update for December


I'll be honest, the festivities got me confused and completely forgot I was meant to post a progress update *last* week.  Since I changed to a monthly schedule, the weeks simply seem to blend.


I've been spending the last month working on new gimmicks for the upcoming Act 2, and even made a polish pass to these elements. I have the intention of starting the actual development of Act 2 by January, but there's still one underlying system that needs to be implemented before that...


I've managed to put together a very basic save writing and loading system. I want to be able to support multiple saveslots , so it's still got a few upgrades pending.

Act 1 was all about easing the player into the enviromental mechancis of the game. For Act 2, the training wheels are finally off and I can start implementing a designing more complex puzzles and paths. It's something I want to surprise evetyone with, so excuse me if I remain vague in the coming months.
